Our story began in 2003 with ‘Sisley’s Cornish Preserves’ which became the foundation stone for our expanding preserves business.

Sisley's Cornish Preserves was, and still remains a family run business, now in partnership with 'Crellow'.

Founded by Wendy Sisley and her late husband Barrie, jars of marmalade, jam & chutney were produced from their home in Penzance. ‘Sisley’s’ quickly became popular with the locals due to their wholesome, traditional recipes which were initially sold from the couple’s fruit & vegetable shop in Newlyn, Cornwall.

New owners, Sisters Laura and Jessica Lobb, along with Jonathan Short took over in May 2010 and continue to produce and supply the finest quality handmade preserves.

The range diversified in 2011, with our ‘Amelia Rose’ variety of preserves, which are blended with alcohol to create unique and luxurious tasting product.

In 2012 we were fortunate enough to acquire another local preserves company, Crellow, also founded by a husband and wife team in Tregony.

With Sisley’s having made premium quality products for many years, we thought Crellow would make a fantastic addition, with its familiar ethos and great reputation.

Renowned for enjoying a challenge, we now run both companies from our premises in Portreath!

Always aiming for a seamless transition, Jonny & partner Jess now deal with the sales & delivery aspect, while Laura and her small team are busy in the kitchen making & perfecting the recipes!

Here at ‘Sisley’s & Crellow’ we produce a variety of handmade preserves, condiments, mustards and sauces, all using quality ingredients.

Being Cornish born and bred, we are proud to use Cornish produce wherever possible and when in season. Our recipes are guarded secrets passed onto us by the founders of both companies.

Our products have an authentic 'homemade' taste & high fruit & vegetable content which has proven extremely popular with our customers.

With our love of cooking, and passion for ingredients, we take great pride in making our preserves just so, with new and existing recipes being carefully crafted, resulting in many award winning products.

We are also proud to say that we do not use artificial colours or preservatives, the only ingredients contained in our jars are fruit & vegetables, expertly cooked with sugar, vinegar & spices.
